According to one of her tweets, Lindsay Lohan (@lindsaylohan) saved 40 child laborers in one day in India. Apparently, she was in India filming a documentary for the British Broadcasting Company.
But the BBC is saying that she has been misinterpreted. The spokesperson, as quoted by the New York Daily News, stated that she was not present at the raid, but was referring to the documentary itself.
According to another social activist, she wasn’t even in the country when the raid took place. Ouch.
